Hi there it sounds like you know how to deal with aggressive dogs and I’m really open to trying new methods of training. Could you please teach us how you would deal with a dog that likes to bite whether around kids/dogs so that it becomes as stable as CESAR’S OWN PIT BULLS R.I.P DADDY AND JUNIOR. If you could upload it in a video it would be greatly appreciated.

  • MontrealChic

Oh sure you’re absolutely right, that’s exactly why Cesar’s own pitbulls DADDY(passed away) and JUNIOR are sooo aggressive, fearful of other dogs/people and attacking everyone in sight. So if a dog tried to bite all you have to do is give it a cookie and shower it with affection. I’ll believe that if you make a video of it.

    thx for tips with gf)

  • AboutDogTraining3

your problem is that you have bought in to this pack leader nonsense.

  • MrShortCropped

a good tip: when youre on a walk with your dog/dogs take 15 minits and do some clicker training, its very good and the dog must use the brain and gets tired easier..and or/ take a trip on your bike :)

  • MrShortCropped

i still live home and im 22, my problem is that in my family im the only pack leader..i tell my mom every single day and show cesaers program, but my mom and her bf dont listen..they give affection in wrong momentes etc, but my father had dogs all my life and he knows…so thats good, 22 dogs are a lot..see it this way you have made mistakes but now u can correct it :)

Thank you for making one of the few intelligent comments here!

Cesar Millan is a TERRIBLE trainer who uses very aggressive and aversive techniques and if you don’t realize this you need to re-evalute how YOU interact with dogs b/c it’s likely doing more harm than good. Millan HANGS DOGS as a “training technique.” It is a crime that he is allowed to even own a dog let alone “train” them. Millan is constantly bitten badly by dogs and dogs DO NOT interact with one another in that manner.

  • AboutDogTraining3

@petetheheat2003, you obviously know nothing about dogs. Millan is a dog groomer and tv reality host. He jabs dogs and causes them pain which halts the behaviour he doesn’t like. Dogs rarely bite each other, that would be evolutionary too “expensive.” Pack leadership is outdated garbage.

  • petetheheat2003

You obviously know nothing about dogs. Cesar is a genius. And he gently touches dogs. Never harms them. Dogs bite each other in a pack, he simply simulates this. Not all bites are to harm most are to correct. If you are not your dogs pack leader, he/she is yours.

  • ihamoitc2005

Cesar Milan abuses dogs in every video. His most common technique is to repeatedly stab them in the ribs with his fingertips held closely together. He kicks them frequently as well. This guy needs to be brought up on charges of animal cruelty. People are fooled by his soft voice and smooth delivery.

  • AboutDogTraining3

@FairySpaceMonkey you fucking moron. Once again you show what a massive idiot you really are. Your little story has nothing to do with the issues we are discussion. Is it that you are really as stupid as people think? Balto…FUCKING IDIOT, at least you are good for the occasional laugh.

  • FairySpaceMonkey

    @AboutDogTraining3 Make sure you “research” this… ”
    *Every dog is an individual*
And just like in human team sports, each one has different skills. Some dogs like to be in charge and want to be up front. Others are insecure or worry, or are perhaps intimidated by the dogs behind them. Shy dogs often like to be further away from the sled and the person.”
    Every team/pack includes:
Lead Dogs, Swing or Point Dogs, Team Dogs & Wheel Dogs.

  • FairySpaceMonkey

@AboutDogTraining3 right! And Balto’s story is based on fiction right? “On February 2, 1925, the Norwegian Gunnar Kaasen
drove his team, LED by Balto, into Nome.” “Balto proved himself on the Iditarod trail, saving his team in the Topkok River. Balto was also able to stay on the trail in near whiteout conditions; Kaasen stated he could barely see his hand in front of his face. Balto’s team did their leg of the run almost entirely in the dark.”

  • AboutDogTraining3

Millan’s view f leadership doesn’t exist. More importantly, Millan thinks leadership is won by force, compulsion and dominance.

  • FairySpaceMonkey

Leadership exists in dogs and so does pack hierarchy. When I think of this the name “Balto” comes to mind. Where would all those children have been if a great dog pack leader had not led those dog sled packs?

  • AboutDogTraining3

thank you. I don’t watch that crap and I did not know the name had been anglicized. The comparison is apt.

  • AboutDogTraining3

Becoming a leader…. what a joke. Why does Millan’s “leadership” invariably involve some sort of physical compulsion

  • PackLeaderUK

    Great show! Love Cesar Milan

  • FairySpaceMonkey

Troll, you know who you are.

  • AboutDogTraining3

Millan’s bullshit trinity has nothing to do with training. Train the dog and he will walk with a robot.

  • AboutDogTraining3

@scatteredreams, he kicks, hangs, punches, jabs, and generally mistreats dogs.
