6:45 me and my sgt had a bet to see who can touch the wall the least. He had to push off 3 times and I only had to do it twice. He paid for the beer that evening. That was over 20 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday.

The Infantry course is 17 weeks…took that from forces.ca..well for the (MOC)

  • defort45

NO. Do yourself a favour and quit talking out your ass like every other wannabe punk on youtube who doesn’t have an ounce of experience. ONLY the infantry do the (14 week) DP1 Infantry course, full stop. No other trades. It is an infantry specific course that you take after basic. If you have any hope of joining soon, you’ll wanna drop the smart-ass attitude, especially considering you know next to nothing.

LOL! 14 weeks is for the BMQ 13 weeks in fact but if you considered the week 0 it makes 14 weeks the infantry course depends on the job you chosed AND YES its not only the infantry that do the infantry course every armed combat profession have to do it

Seriously kid, if you’re gonna preach about doing some “research”, you should at least have you’re numbers right. I haven’t been in touch with training system for some time and it’s an ever evolving system. So I got in touch with some friends who are instructors and asked some of my new troops and the actual length of a Reg force DP1 Infantry course is 14 weeks as it stands right now.

  • D1rtyDog

So, did you make it through? What unit are you with?

  • D1rtyDog

Once you get passed the recruit level, this should be diminished and in fact more advanced gunfighter techniques should see the rifle brought up and in close to the body so that the weapon is almost vertical.

  • D1rtyDog

Kid, you have NO idea what you’re talking about. I repeat, NO idea. Do everyone a favour and keep your uninformed opinions to yourself and SHUT UP.

  • D1rtyDog

With a username like “JTFII”, I’d be willing to bet your opinion is based on next to little or no ACTUAL experience or first hand knowledge. But thanks anyways….

you get about 5-6 hours a night during the week and during the field weeks 4-6 hours for the week depending on your staff. I was so sleep fucked I fell from a standing position in my trench..good times. The excercises are about a week. There’s around 3 weeks of actually field weeks.
