what is my dog dose not come back to me???
we didn’t have to teach our dog fetch. First day we got her when she was a puppy we through a ball and she brought it right back and still loves it. She even drops it at our feet. She’s really obsessed with fetch. The second I come home she’ll walk over with a ball.

that really helps dude man i think that i will try that i agree take the focus my dog just wants to play tug a war a full breed pit but i think that with this he will learn
hey, that was pretty helpful dude =) thanks
My dog LOVES to play fetch. He already knew how to play when I got him, and he knows his reward for giving me the ball is he gets to chase it AGAIN.
whats if your dog runs to hte ball and comess back without it or if you throw him the second ball he wont fetcg because you have his other ball?
@xJaffaBobx
lol mine too, how to teach that huh!
Woot best video ever taught my dog to fetch in seconds and he is usully the hardest dog to teach because of his short attention span.
That was helpful but my dog has the shortest attention span ever. She’s running after it and then she would see something like a bottle cap and then just play with that for twenty minutes.
Working with two fetch items instead of one, that is a wonderful tip! Thank you! I’m going to try that right away.
like the video
That’s great that you know what she likes. Food can be a strong motivator, and so can petting! Check out a tutorial I made on fetch not long ago. Let me know if it helps
my dog runs off and doesn’t come back with the ball..
Thank you so much for this advice – it works like a dream! Our dog REALLY enjoyed himself and I’m quite excited about playing in the park tomorrow – fingers crossed he doesn’t get bored with it
use somthin that intrests him that he likes not what u want him to play with then eventuelly switch
This really did work. Unfortunately my dog is now wise to this trick and now flat out refuses to drop the ball unless something distracts his attention and he runs off to sniff… leaving his ball THERE for me to collect. We’ve spent up to 15 minutes just staring in the park and I’m now losing patience. I spent 10 minutes yesterday trying to get him to drop. A stranger walks up, asks him to drop and he does immediately… 3 times… I’m starting to think this is personal
the best ive gotten to make my dog fetch is when i take is toy from his mouth. throw . and he comes back with it in his mouth. i wil try this soon once i find a toy he likes.. hes very picky on his toys. ………………yorkie

Your dogs can be adults, so they don’t want to play. I’ve got a 5months old dog, he loves playing:)
MY DOG HAS NO INTEREST IN BALLS, TOYS, or ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER. SHE KNOWS HOW TO EAT, AND GET PET. WHAT STEPS CAN I TAKE TO TRAIN HER!?!?!?!?
what if my dog doesn’t actually come back to me? He just runs to the ball and picks it up. Then he just lies down with it in his mouth. he doesn’t come to me.
