Jesse shows off some of his talented tricks; complete with his award winning smile =o) None of the footage has been sped up or reversed; Jesse actually knows how to walk backwards. The only effect added was slowing down the jump for the Frisbees to go in time with the music. The footage in this video is from October 2007 and March 2008 when Jesse was 2 and 3 years old. www.bighoneydog.com / Honey the Great Dane at 9 weeks, playing with her kitty sister, Lemon, and practising some early training, eg. come when called, no mouthing & shake paws. (I was not a very good trainer then – I should have praised Honey when she stopped mouthing after I told her off “No!” – very important to always praise/reward dogs for doing the RIGHT thing – if you just shout at them for doing the wrong thing, they will never learn. Honey is my 1st dog so I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning! And probably still do…! )

ok so i have a beautiful 11 week catahoula pup..today at the park, she kept trying to pull on her leash so i had her on a lead so she would stay right next to me.. how do i keep her in this habbit and also someone told me to hook her leash on my belt to get her into the habbit of staying by my side.. does this sound like a good way to train her?

This is our 9 week old black lab puppy called Banjo, and my daughter Brenna, who taught him to ‘sit’, lie ‘down’, and ‘shake’ hands at the age of 7 weeks. He’s such a clever pup – food is his great motivator – he would be willing to learn calculus if there was a treat to be had , although Brenna rewards him with food randomly so he’ll always do the tricks whether there’s food or not in the hopes that eventually he’ll get a treat! Brenna’s done a great job on him. She’s in the middle of teaching him to ‘spin’ around.
